Termlet Software License Agreement
Termlet is not open-source software; it is provided free of charge under the license agreement below. This is the agreement shipped with the program (in the Windows installer and in the macOS and Linux packages); the one included with the version you download is the one that applies.

Please read this agreement before installing or using Termlet (the “Software”). By clicking “I Agree”, or by installing or using the Software, you agree to this agreement. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Software.
1. License
The Software is currently provided free of charge. You may install it on any number of devices for personal or work use.
2. Restrictions
Without the written permission of the copyright holder, you may not:
(a) sell, rent, lend or sublicense the Software;
(b) modify, reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the Software, except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law;
(c) remove or alter the copyright notices or license information in the Software.
3. Third-party components
Third-party components included in the Software (such as open-source libraries including GPUI, the JetBrains Mono font and the terminal color schemes) are licensed under their own licenses. Their license texts are distributed with the Software, in the licenses folder of the installation folder.
4. Data and privacy
Your hosts, credentials and other data are stored on your computer and never pass through our servers. By default, the Software sends anonymous usage statistics at most once a day (such as its version, the operating system, CPU architecture and interface language; never hosts, commands or files, and nothing that identifies you or your computer). The receiving server also works out your country or region from your network address, without storing the address. You can turn this off in Settings at any time. It contacts the update server when checking for updates. To prevent abuse, Cloudflare rate-limits requests by network address; blocked requests may briefly appear with their address in Cloudflare’s security logs. Termlet itself does not read or store addresses. Other features that use the network, such as cloud sync and sending crash reports automatically, are used only after you turn them on. See https://termlet.dev/en/privacy/ for details.
5. Disclaimer
The Software is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the copyright holder is not liable for any loss arising from the use of or inability to use the Software, including loss of data, interruption of service, and the consequences of commands and file operations performed on servers through the Software (including the termlet command-line tool and the AI tools that call it).
6. Other terms
Later versions of the Software may come with different license terms; the agreement included with each version applies to that version. If you breach this agreement, your license ends automatically, and you must stop using and delete the Software.
